This morning I encountered a strange rush on the road at a typical circular iland around main road leading to a chief business hub of kolkata . “Road Closed for Repairs” said the billboard in big bold red letters.Its okay the Road is closed for repairs, not the Traffic signal. On a typical day this road hardly encounters jams for the traffic movement is smooth, and the daily commuters much to their habit of ignoring red signals and for want of any policing seemed to be ignoring the same today as well resulting in a visible ZERO SPEED Traffic JAM in a circular fashion aroung the circular iland threading four plus direction roads.All the Red signals were broken at both the ends of roads and thus the mesh of cars, lorries and buses around.
~I tried to make one of the driver to stop for one minutes and follow the traffic signal, but to my surpirse what I found is that the Sense is NO more Common~
